World Organization of Independent Scouts for its acronym in English (WOIS). We Are A Brotherhood supporters of the work of our founder Robert Stephenson Smith Baden Powell of Gilwell. We declare a brotherhood in THERE THE FEELING of mutual understanding and camaraderie, being our Guide the Scout Law and Scout Promise.
The Wois is based to achieve the aims of Scouting volunteers with adults who dedicate part of their time to instructing, education and care of young people in charge of this is accomplished by helping our volunteers to develop the various facets of the Scout Method and more technical and work tools and drives our base groups affiliated associations.
Being an institution of traditional follow the postulates of our Great Leader Lord Robert Stephenson Smith Baden Powell of Gilwell, who for us is the chief scout perpetuity, our member associations are committed to incentivize and publicize the life and work of our founder and highlights the date of February 22 as the day of the Founder.
It seeks the physical, spiritual and mental youth to become “good citizens”. With emphasis on recreational activities with educational, outdoor activities and community service, these latter in order to build character and teach practical way human values (as opposed to theoretical academic training, so the emphasis on example of the leader).
